Middleton Lodge is an absolutely perfect place to stay when visiting the Yorkshire Dales. We went up for a special getaway and it couldn’t have been more lovely. The place is beautiful, set in the grounds of the Middleton Lodge Estate the views are nothing but the colourful forest and fields surrounding.

We spent a lot of our time hiking or cycling up the relatively small mountains to discover Sardinia. Breathtaking views await the adventurer on this island, on the way up you can feel a true outback escque sense as there are sparse inhabitants on these arid landscapes.

Hotel Balmes was a saving grace on our recent trip to Barcelona. It was a very last minute decision for a city break (the day before) and as the recent city festival, Sonar had been unraveling throughout the city, accommodation was thoroughly booked.
